A rare early cast sterling silver photo or picture frame. Original English Sterling Silver Frame, hallmarked with the Lion Passant (925 purity). Features intricate, hand-engraved animal motifs in exceptional detail. Expertly handcrafted with fine workmanship and contains over 78 grams of solid sterling silver. The back is finished with the original silk interior and felt exterior. Markings: Fully hallmarked for .925 sterling silver, London hallmark, 1887, which we've been unable to trace.
