Extremely Rare French Antique Game/Coffee Table – Handcrafted Solid Oak

A truly rare and exceptional French antique piece — this large central table is crafted from very thick solid oak wood, with parts exceeding 2 inches in thickness. The tabletop features a square-patterned solid oak surface with intricate hand-carved detailing.

The table includes a folding mechanism that raises the side panels above the center level, and an additional thick solid insert for playing chess or backgammon. All game board designs are entirely made from hand-inlaid solid wood — not veneer, not painted.

Recently polished after deep wood cleaning, the piece is restored to excellent, like-new condition. It is heavy, generously sized, and built to last.
